Erawan Museum, Samut Prakan

Woozy & Alluring

I was wanting to see this museum as I was curious about its interior and I was surely amazed by it; the detail was staggering. The three-headed elephant standing on top of the museum was huge, to say the least, being made of bronze and weighing 250 tons. The museum itself contains collections of priceless religious objects which are owned by the Khun Viriyapant -- the owner of the museum. I was amused at the significance of each floor, the first represents the underworld, the second the earth (where we are presently) and the top floor represents Heaven. I did get a bit woozy at the top I have to admit. The museum was also surrounded by an alluring garden with an extended pond.
